| A Husband's Ten Commandments |
 |
1) Thou shalt never ever, under any circumstances, for any reason, compare thy wife's cooking to thy mother's.
2) Thou shalt never say, "Sweetheart, let me give you a few pointers on driving the car."
3)Thou shalt never ask thy wife, "Honey, why are you changing your hairstyle again?"
4) Thou shalt never dare to say, "Nothing personal, but I don't like this recipe." Thou shalt wait until asked, and then reply, "Not bad; It's pretty good."
5) Thou shalt not ask, "Why do you need another pair of matching shoes?"
6) Thou shalt never ask her why she doesn't wear a certain dress any longer. Thy wife may have gained weight and she hateth to have to tell thee that it no longer fitteth.
7) Thou shalt never remind her, "you forgot something," after leaving town.
8) Thou shalt never agree with her when she tells you she is getting more wrinkles, more age marks, or is getting the "secretary's spread." Never agree. Thou shalt disagree even if thou must lie.
9) Thou shalt never ask, "What's wrong with celebrating Christmas day at my parent's house instead of your parents for two years in a row?"
10) Thou shalt never interrupt thy wife while she is talking on the sacred telephone, not even to ask, "Who is it?"
Pr 2:11 Discretion shall preserve thee...
